PORTO Residential Development in Gdańsk - Another Phase Under Our Supervision

In the Letnica district of Gdańsk, at the intersection of Nowy Port and Brzeźno, the PORTO residential development continues to grow steadily. This multi-stage project has already become a permanent element of the local urban landscape. We are currently providing investor’s supervision for its newest phase – IJK and LMN.

This stage will deliver 268 residential units and approximately 35,000 m² of total floor area.

The project is being developed by ROBYG S.A., a well-established developer with more than 24 years of experience in the Polish market and projects delivered in the country’s largest metropolitan areas. The development is designed by B1 Architekci and constructed by ROBYG Construction.

Due to its coastal location, the project presents several technical challenges, particularly in terms of ground and water conditions. The proximity to the sea and the high groundwater level require carefully selected engineering solutions and continuous control of the construction process.

As part of our investor’s supervision, we focus particularly on:

• -the high groundwater levels typical for coastal areas,
• -the construction of the underground level using “white tank” waterproof concrete technology,
• -coordination and monitoring of the site dewatering system, including relief wells balancing uplift pressure,
• -ensuring compliance with design documentation and maintaining high construction quality at every stage of the project.

Our role is to provide comprehensive supervision of the construction works – from quality control and schedule monitoring to mitigating execution risks, which are particularly important in projects located in demanding ground and water conditions.

The PORTO development is another example of a project where our experience in investor’s supervision supports the investor in the safe and efficient delivery of a complex, multi-stage residential investment.
